
Mirai Matcha Duo Cupcakes - Harmony in White and Green
Recipe: Matcha Mirai Duo Cupcakes
Ingredients :
For the cakes:
• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 tablespoon of quality Matcha Mirai
• 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon of salt
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the coating:
• 200g of good quality white chocolate
Instructions :
1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and prepare cupcake tins with paper baking cups.
2. Mix the dry ingredients: flour, Matcha Mirai, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
3. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, then the vanilla.
4. Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until a smooth dough forms.
5. Fill the molds two-thirds full and bake for 15-20 minutes.
6. Melt the white chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave.
7. Once the cakes have cooled, dip one half in the melted white chocolate and let it harden on a wire rack.
Serve these duo cakes as a visual celebration as they are a taste. They're perfect for afternoon tea or as an elegant treat for your special events.
