Explore the Art of Kintsugi (2026)

Kintsugi— urushi lacquer and gold powder—repairs ceramics by revealing their lifelines. At THÉ.ŌLOGY , we combine this art with the aesthetics of tea: slowness, care, transmission.

What is Kintsugi?

Philosophy of resilience

Rather than masking the fracture, Kintsugi makes it visible and beautiful. Each scar becomes a link, a story embraced.

Noble materials

Urushi lacquer, gold/silver/brass powders, successive polishings: a repair designed to last, adapted to use.

In the service of ritual

Matcha bowls, cups, teapots: extend the life of everyday companions, intensify the moment of tea.

A journey between tea, ceramics and hospitality

My path begins in Colombia , with pastries and the tea room 7tea4 , where I learned to create welcoming experiences around flavors and rituals.

Back in France, I founded Mikazukidō in Oingt: a tea workshop-room dedicated to Kintsugi, where repaired ceramics met the original infusion. This adventure nourished Maison dō thé , then evolved into THÉ.ŌLOGY .

In 2026, the project will be based in Nice : a contemporary place where the art of Kintsugi and the art of tea meet, combining culture, elegance and transmission.
