A Unique Korean Sencha
Jeoncha is harvested at the end of June, when the tea leaves express a balanced maturity. Its production method is reminiscent of that of Japanese Sencha : the leaves are steamed, then rolled and dried to obtain an elongated and flat shape. When infused, the liquor displays a bright yellow color , a symbol of clarity and freshness.
Origin, Method & Tasting
Origin: South Korea, organic mountain gardens.
Type: Organic green tea ( Jeoncha ).
Method: Steam, roll, dry.
Infusion: 2-3 minutes at 75-80°C, preferably with soft water to preserve the finesse of its aromas.
Taste profile: Fresh and vegetal attack, notes of young green shoots, a persistent sweetness on the finish. Its bright yellow color accentuates the clarity and lightness of the tasting.
