CompositionVitality through plants

This infusion is based on a factual balance between nutrient-rich plants and highly refreshing ingredients.

Hibiscus and Rosehip

Hibiscus calyces provide an intense ruby color and richness in antioxidants. Rosehip berries (cynorrhodon) complete this base with a natural source of vitamin C, essential for supporting the body.

Aromatic freshness

Peppermint sets a persistent and invigorating top note. It is supported by lemongrass, which stretches the acidity toward citrusy nuances, while mulberry leaves bind everything for a smoother finish.

ExpertiseMy tonic selection

I formulated this blend to offer a healthy alternative to caffeinated drinks. The goal was to create an infusion that maintains a crisp and clear structure without using artificial stimulants.

For whom?

  • The person looking for a tonic coffee substitute to start their day with vitality.
  • The fan of fruity infusions seeking a fresher, more herbal, and less sweet profile than classic blends.
  • The connoisseur appreciating the virtues of rosehip and demanding a clean herbal blend that preserves essential oils.

TipsMy extraction protocol

Reference preparation

I recommend using 2.5 grams of the blend for 250 ml of water. Heat your water to 95°C and let it infuse for 8 minutes covered. This duration is essential for the rosehip berries and hibiscus to fully release their nutrients and flavors.

Variations

  • The thirst quencher (Cold Brew): Place 5 grams in a carafe of cold water in the refrigerator for 8 to 12 hours. This slow extraction better preserves vitamin C and offers a much smoother acidity.
💡 The art of sharing: A cold hibiscus infusion is a guaranteed surprise for your guests in summer. Share this cold brewing method to replace overly sweet industrial fruit juices.
FAQFrequently Asked Questions
Vitamins Does this infusion really provide vitamin C?

Yes, thanks to rosehip (cynorrhodon), which is one of the richest sources in the plant world. To preserve as much as possible, I recommend favoring cold infusion in the refrigerator.

Stomach Is the acidity of hibiscus a problem?

Hibiscus is tart in taste, but the presence of peppermint ensures good digestive comfort. If you have a very sensitive stomach, simply avoid drinking it completely on an empty stomach right after waking.

Awakening Can this infusion replace morning coffee?

It’s an excellent alternative. Although it contains no caffeine, the freshness of the mint and the tonic quality of hibiscus provide an immediate awakening effect on the senses.

Iced Can it be drunk iced?

This is one of its best uses. When cold brewed, it becomes a very healthy, refreshing drink, rich in flavor and free of added sugars, ideal for summer hydration.
