I selected this blend because it evokes something specific: a street in Bangkok at dusk, between the smoke of the markets and garlands of jasmine hanging from shopfronts. Three Chinese green teas come together here to create a floral, soft, and enveloping cup — rose on the surface, honey at the base, jasmine everywhere.

Brewing timer

Three delicate green teas to respect: maximum 75 to 80°C, 2 to 3 minutes. Water that’s too hot would erase the jasmine’s floral finesse and turn the cup bitter. The timer is your best ally here.

CompositionThree green teas, jasmine, rose & honey

China Sencha green tea, China Jasmine green tea, China Chun Mee green tea, flavoring, jasmine flowers, rose petals, natural honey flavor, natural rose flavor.

The green tea trio

The sencha brings vegetal freshness upfront; the jasmine sets the characteristic floral base; the chun mee — whose name means “precious eyebrow” in Mandarin — adds a light body and slight acidity that structures the cup. Together, they complement without repeating.

Jasmine, rose & honey

Jasmine flowers and rose petals enhance the naturally floral notes in the base. The natural honey aroma wraps the cup in a soft, slightly sweet roundness, without ever overpowering the freshness of the green tea. The natural rose aroma signs the finish, delicate and lingering.

ExpertiseA journey in a cup, made to last

What I look for in a flavored tea is balance: the aroma should serve the cup without dominating it. A Night in Bangkok achieves this — jasmine is present, rose is noticeable, honey rounds it out, but it’s always the green tea that leads. A blend to be savored slowly, taking your time.

For whom?

TipsMy extraction protocol

In a hot cup

3 g for 250 ml at 75–80°C, 2 to 3 minutes. Do not exceed 80°C: Chinese green teas are sensitive to heat. The cup should be pale yellow-green, with an immediate floral scent when opening the filter.

Iced infusion

Double the dose (6 g / 250 ml), infuse for 2 minutes at 75°C, strain quickly. Cool and pour over ice cubes. Jasmine and rose express themselves beautifully in the cold version — the cup becomes floral, light, and very refreshing. A fresh mint leaf on top is welcome.

The perfect pairing: some almond cookies or a lightly honeyed pastry. The floral-honey notes of the cup naturally harmonize with the almond and honey notes of the oriental pastry.
FAQFrequently Asked Questions
Blend Why three different green teas?

Sencha brings freshness, jasmine sets the floral base, chun mee adds body and slight acidity. Together: a complex and balanced cup.

Honey Is the honey flavor pronounced?

No, it is subtle and enveloping — a gentle roundness at the back of the cup, not a dominant aroma. The cup remains floral and fresh above all.

Floral Is it suitable for people who don’t like very floral teas?

Yes. Jasmine is present but balanced by honey and the freshness of sencha. The cup remains balanced, never overpowering.

Evening Can it be drunk in the evening?

Drink in moderation: it contains theine. I recommend it more for late afternoon. For the evening, choose a caffeine-free infusion.
