CompositionThe controlled floral structure

The structure of this blend is based on moderation. The goal is not to achieve aromatic saturation but a balanced composition where each element remains identifiable.

The light base

White tea, very lightly processed, offers a smooth texture. It serves as a silent support, avoiding the astringency that a strong pure green tea might bring.

The aromatic blend

The 5% jasmine green tea sets the floral guideline. The rose accompanies this register, while the raspberry flavor only appears at the end of the palate for a subtle fruity nuance.

ExpertiseMy floral harmony selection

I formulated this flavored tea to offer an alternative to often overly saturated floral teas. It is a gentle gateway to jasmine flavors.

TipsMy extraction protocol

Reference preparation

Extracting this delicate base requires water at 75°C. Use 2.5 grams of blend for 250 ml of water. Infuse for 4 minutes to fully express the jasmine without bitterness.

Variations

  • Lighter profile: If you want to soften the floral note for the evening, lower the water to 70°C and limit the infusion to 3 minutes.
  • Stronger infusion: You can extend to 5 minutes if you want a more pronounced floral note, but the bitterness of the green tea may appear slightly.
The art of sharing: A gentle floral tea like Premier Amour is an excellent introduction to jasmine for your guests. Serve it at the end of a meal for a light touch.
FAQFrequently Asked Questions
Floral I often find jasmine too strong, will this be okay?

This blend was designed specifically to avoid saturation. Jasmine is present (5%), but its intensity is moderated by the silky white tea base.

Evening I’m looking for an evening tea, is this suitable?

Yes, if you tolerate a low level of caffeine. The minimal presence of green tea and the white tea base make it a consistent choice for relaxation. Those more sensitive should opt for an herbal tea after 6 p.m.

Temperature I don’t have a kettle adjustable to 75°C, what should I do?

Boil your water, then leave the kettle open for 6 to 8 minutes. The water will naturally cool to the right temperature, avoiding burning the leaves.

Re-infusion Can it be re-infused multiple times?

You can try a second, shorter infusion, but this type of flavored blend delivers most of its profile during the first brew. A plain white tea would be better suited for multiple re-infusions.
